Temporary exhibitions in Strasbourg

Dear Madam, dear Sir,

I would enjoy guiding you through following exhibitions in the museums of Strasbourg:

  • “America” at the Tomi Ungerer Illustration Museum: 120 posters, satirical drawings illustrating the American society and the American politics from the 1960s to 1970s.
  • “Strasbourg 1918-1924, the return to France seen by the illustrators” at the Tomi Ungerer Museum of Illustration: satirical drawings and propaganda images recounting the enthusiasm raised by the liberators and the appearance of the difficulty of the Alsatians to feel French after World War I.
  • “1518, the fever of dance” at the Museum Oeuvre Notre-Dame: based on original documents, the exhibition observes how the city administration, the clergy and the medical profession analyze and try to remedy this fever of dance.
  • “Joana Vasconcelos, I want to Break Free” at the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art: 24 works where daily objects such as pans and plastic cutlery are transformed by the artist’s fantasy.
